1.General
These Terms and Conditions, together the List of Services contained in Annex 1 and any additional terms, notices and disclaimers which may from time to time to published govern your relationship with Roohoo Productions and other services on the Roohoo Productions website. By signing and returning these Terms and Conditions you accept and acknowledge that you are bound by these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time.
These Terms of Use are governed by the law in force in England and Wales. Both you and Roohoo Productions irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the England and Wales.
2. Interpretation and Definitions
Unless otherwise specifically stated a reference in these Terms and Conditions to any clause means that clause within these Terms and Conditions.
Customer means the person you books package from Roohoo Films
CRB Checked means the process by which the Criminal Records Bureau conducts criminal record checks on potential employees on behalf of organisations. This is called “Disclosure” in this case an Enhanced Disclosure will be carried out which is appropriate for individuals who have greater contact with children and vulnerable adults.
Proprietary Material means all films (whether produced on DVD or otherwise), photographs (whether produced on digital or otherwise) and other work documents and information (and any designs, ideas and concepts contained in them) including any stored electronically which have been or will be prepared, conceived or developed by or on behalf of Roohoo Productions in the course of, or as a result of, performing the [Works]. The Proprietary Material also includes the Roohoo Productions website www.roohooproductions.com and all the contents therein;
Roohoo Films includes ALL Roohoo Star Films, Little Roohoo Star, Roohoo Star Birthday, Roohoo Star Party, Roohoo Star Celebration, Roohoo Star Story, Roohoo Star Hobby, Roohoo All Stars
3. Making a Booking
A booking can be made for any of the services offered by Roohoo Productions either by email or telephone.
A booking will only be confirmed when a signed copy of Roohoo Productions Terms and Conditions has been received by Roohoo Productions. Written Confirmation of the booking will then be sent out.
The written confirmation of your booking will include a detailed description of the service to be provided and the fee payable by the Customer for the service being provided
4. Payment
Payment for a confirmed booking must be made prior to the start of the service. Payment by cheque is acceptable and should be made payable to Miss Aliex Yuill.
5. Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation of a confirmed booking must be given in writing by email by the Customer.
If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the confirmed date then the Customer must pay 100% of fee advised in the written confirmation.
If a booking is cancelled within a week of the confirmed date then the Customer must pay 50% of fee advised in the written confirmation.
If a booking is cancelled more than a week prior to the confirmed date then the Customer must pay 25% of the fee advised in the written confirmation.
6. Copyright
Copyright in the Proprietary Material shall remain vested in Roohoo Films. Copies of any of the Proprietary Material may be purchased from Roohoo Films and must not be adapted, reproduced, distributed, transmitted or published for personal or any other use. All copies of the Proprietary Material must be bought from Roohoo Films.
Roohoo Films shall not be liable for the consequences of any use of the Proprietary Material for any purpose other than that for which it was prepared.
Roohoo Films acknowledges and warrants that it is the author (as defined in the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act, 1988) of the Proprietary Material.
Notwithstanding that copyright in the Proprietary Material remains vested in Roohoo Films, Roohoo Films shall not, without the prior consent of the Customer, be entitled to use the Proprietary Material other than for the purposes for which it has been prepared.
7. Child Protection
Roohoo Films takes child protection very seriously. Anyone providing a service on behalf of Roohoo Films will have been CRB checked and completed a self disclosure form.
8. Consent
Roohoo Films requires written consent from a legal guardian of any child appearing in the following services provided by Roohoo Films: ALL Roohoo Star Films. A copy of the consent form can be found on the Roohoo Films website www.roohooproductions.com
Children will not be able to participate in any of the aforementioned Roohoo Films services without a consent form that has been signed by a legal guardian and any children with your child on the day will also need to have written consent.
You will also be required to gain written consent for filming from ALL venues or organisations outside you home that you wish to be in the film.
9. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines Roohoo Films practices regarding information collected. We suggest that you review this Privacy Policy on our website periodically as we may update it from time to time. This policy was last revised on 21st October 2008.
By visiting Roohoo Films website or otherwise interacting with Roohoo Films you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Roohoo Films collects personally identifiable information (such as first and last names, address, email addresses and telephone numbers) that you provide when you contact Roohoo Films (by e-mail or otherwise) or otherwise interact with Roohoo Films

Your personal information is used by Roohoo Films to enhance your relationship with them, respond to your requests, tailor offerings to you and to communicate with you about products
From time to time you may receive periodic mailings, or e-mails from Roohoo Films with information on special promotions or other offers from Roohoo Films. 11. Disclaimer
Although Roohoo Films are extremely experienced in working with and filming children of all ages the roohoo star film service & the roohoo star story service will work better with children aged 4 years and up.
And we ask that you do take into consideration that children can get very tired very quickly and that very young children especially will only be able to manage filming for a few hours maximum and this can have an effect over the length of your film.
12. Website
Roohoo Films is not liable to you or anyone else for any loss in connection with use of the Roohoo Films website or a linked website. This disclaimer is not restricted or modified by any of the following specific warnings and disclaimers.
Roohoo Films is not liable to you or anyone else if interference with or damage to your computer systems occurs in connection with use of the Roohoo Films website or a linked website. You must take your own precautions to ensure that whatever you select for your use from the Roohoo Films website is free of viruses or anything else (such as worms or trojan horses) that may interfere with or damage the operations of your computer systems.
Roohoo Films may, from time to time, change or add to the Roohoo Films website or the information, products or services without notice. Roohoo Films does not undertake to keep the Roohoo Films website updated. Roohoo Films is not liable to you or anyone else if errors occur in the information on the Roohoo Films website or any printed documentation which you receive if that information is not up-to-date. 13. Errors, Omissions or Discrepancies
Every effort has been made to ensure that any documentation produced by Roohoo Films is correct and up to date. In addition, every effort has been made to ensure that the Roohoo Films website works correctly and that the information contained within it is accurate and up to date. Annex 1
List of Roohoo Productions’ Services
1. Roohoo Star Films: include little star film, star birthday/special occasion/celebration, star story, star hobby, star holiday, all stars
Roohoo Films will come to your home or any location agreed, produce, direct and shoot a short film of your child and provide you with an edited film of the day.
A variety of packages are available but each will be bespoke to the individual child, family and situation. Specific details for each package are listed under the package title and can also be found on the website roohooproductions.com
Generic information for all films as follows:

Telephone chat beforehand to determine the specific details to be included within your film.
Director will visit your home or the location where you would like the filming to take place to view the surrounding area and to meet you and your child.
Filming day will include a 1 or 2 person crew depending on the film and begin at 9am and end at 5pm, less one hour for lunch. This will however be different when filming a star birthday/celebration or special occasion and in this case we would aim to arrive 2 hrs prior to the event taking place. These filming days will last no more than 4 hours unless agreed otherwise.
1 x copy of the film finished and delivered within 4 weeks after your filming date. It will be sent on DVD and will come with a personalised message and packaging. Any extra copies of the film will be charged at £15 per copy or £20 per copy with bespoke box and ribbon.
Film day
A typical filming day will begin at 9am and end at 5pm but this is subject to change if agreed beforehand by both parties.
Any extra time on the day or over time due to customer will be paid at £50 per hour. If any additional filming days are needed or requested with regards to the booked film will be charged at £200 per day. An estimate of the time spent filming will be provided in the booking confirmation and any additional time will be agreed with the Customer prior to the start of filming.
In the case of Star birthday/celebration & filming special occasions we would aim to arrive 2 hrs prior to the event taking place. These filming days will last no more than 4 hours unless agreed otherwise.
Film Length
Star Films will be between 4 and 5 mins in length, all other films are subject to content available and will be discussed with you before hand.
Delivery
Your film will be finished and delivered within 4 weeks after your filming date. It will be sent on DVD and will come with a personalised message and packaging. Any extra copies of the film will be charged at £15 per copy or £20 per copy with bespoke box and ribbon
Editing
All films are edited to the highest standard using broadcast quality editing techniques and will include a menu, title page and credits.
Music
Specially written music will accompany each film.
