Roohoo Films take child protection very seriously. Anyone on location filming with your child will have been CRB checked and completed a self disclosure form. Children will not be filmed without a consent form that has been signed by a legal guardian.
consent
Roohoo Films requires written consent from a legal guardian of any child appearing in a film.
You will also be required to gain written consent for filming from ALL venues or organisations outside you home that you wish to be in the film.
Roohoo Films are happy to advise you on the best way to approach this.
When you book your film we will send you all the relevant forms that need to be completed.
film day
A typical filming day will begin at 9am and end at 5pm but this is subject to change if agreed beforehand by both parties.
Any extra time on the day or over time due to customer will be paid per hour. If any additional filming days are needed or requested with regards to the booked film will be charged.
An estimate of the time spent filming will be provided in the booking confirmation and any additional time will be agreed with the Customer prior to the start of filming.
In the case of Star birthday/celebration & filming special occasions we would aim to arrive 2 hrs prior to the event taking place. These filming days will last no more than 4 hours unless agreed otherwise.
the films
Roohoo Films uses a Sony HVR –V1E broadcast quality HDV camera with sound and edits on Final Cut Studio. All films are edited to the highest standard using broadcast quality editing techniques and will include a menu, title page and credits.
dvd & delivery
This will take a maximum of 4 weeks. Obviously if you have a specific date you need the film for we will do everything we can to work to your deadline.
Your film will be sent to you on DVD and will come with a personalised message and packaging. Any extra copies of the film will be charged at £15 per copy and £20 per copy including bespoke box and ribbon. 
music
Specially written music will accompany each film however please let us know if you would like to use your own music or if there is any particular track you would like to use
other
Although Roohoo Films is extremely experienced in working with and filming children of all ages the little star film will work better with children aged 4 years and up.
We also ask that you do take into consideration that children can get very tired very quickly and that very young children especially will only be able to manage filming for a few hours maximum and this can have an effect over the length of your film.
